Interesting Facts
This superb Châteauneuf du Pape comes from 60-year-old vines. The soil is composed of compacted pebbles in the south and sand in the north. The plot is oriented north-south and all three varieties (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre) are planted together. The grapes are completely destemmed and the alcoholic fermentation takes place in truncated wooden tanks. Maceration lasts from 4 to 5 weeks. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 18 months.
