Interesting Facts
The wine is made from the Mencia variety, grown in the best plots of the winery in the Condado do Tea subzone. After the grapes are harvested by hand and arrive at the winery, the stems are removed, the grapes are cooled and sent to tanks where they macerate for several hours before fermentation begins. This process can last from 7 to 10 days at a maximum temperature of 22 °C. After a few months, the wine is stabilized by cooling, filtered and bottled.
