Moscato Giallo Castel Firmian, Trentino DOC
Interesting Facts
Mezzacorona vineyards are located in the Trentino-Alto Adige region in northern Italy, on the border with Austria. More precisely, the farm is located in Trentino, the southern part of the region. The vines here are located on a vast territory - from the banks of the Adige River to the foothills of the Alps. The farm was founded in 1904. Then 13 wine families united their vineyards. Today, the cooperative includes more than 1,500 winegrowers. This allows the farm to produce wine only from its own grapes, and leave only the best part of the harvest. Moscato Jallo, a variety from the Muscat family, plays an important role in the region. This is an aromatic variety, but the unique microclimate of the region contributes to an even more vivid manifestation of its character. Here you can feel the warm, warming influence of Lake Garda, and at the same time, the refreshing influence of alpine air. Some grapes remain on the vine longer and are picked later.
