Mezzacorona

The Mezzacorona Group was founded in 1904 and is one of the first associations of winemakers to unite into a single cooperative. It is named after the town - the "capital" of the cooperative in the province of Trentino. Currently, Mezzacorona makes wines in two regions of Italy under the following main brands: Castel Firmian, Terre del Noce, Mezzacorona, Rotari (all wines are produced in Trentino), as well as the Sicilian line Feudo Arancio.

The Mezzacorona Group owns 2800 hectares of vineyards with a total production of 48 million bottles and is the world's largest producer of Pinot Grigio wines, the third wine company in Italy in terms of cash turnover, and is also included in the Italian TOP-15 wineries in terms of bottled production.

The level of international attention to the Mezzacorona group is reflected in the title of "Winery of the Year" awarded in 2009 by the Wine Enthusiast agency.
