Interesting Facts
The wine is made from the Bonarda variety, with other varieties added depending on the harvest. After being hand-picked into 20 kg boxes, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery, where they are pressed and fermented and macerated in concrete vats. The wine is also aged in concrete vats for 6 months before bottling. The label depicts a harvester forced to use a ladder to work, as the very old vines of the Mendoza vineyards were starting to "run wild" and literally turn into real trees.
