Interesting Facts
Wine di Sasso is made from the autochthonous Robola variety of Kefalonia, grown in the zone of the same name. Here is a special limestone terroir, the microclimate of which is influenced by the imposing heights of Mount Ainos. The vines are 30 years old. Harvesting and sorting of grapes for "Vino di Sasso" is carried out exclusively by hand. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using only wild yeast found on the grape skins.
