Cantina di Soave

The history of the farm began in 1898, when 115 farmers united in a cooperative. Over the past 120 years, the number of cooperative members has increased to 2,200. Cantina di Soave has become the largest farm in the region producing wines only from its own grapes. Today, Cantina di Soave is: 6,000 hectares of vineyards (70% of which are in the DOC and DOCG zones); 30 million liters of wine per year; the annual turnover of the farm is 112 million euros; 43% of all Soave Classico DOC wines produced; 48% of all Soave DOC wines produced; 49% of all Valpolicella DOC wines produced; 70% of all Lessini Durello DOC sparkling wines.

The farm combines high technology and a scientific approach. Full control is exercised at all stages of production - during grape growing (on each plot), during harvesting, during wine production, aging and bottling.
