C.V.N.E. was founded in 1879 in Haro (Rioja) by two brothers, Eusebio and Raimondo Real de Azua. A trip, initially undertaken for health reasons, led to the creation of Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (C.V.N.E.) – a wine company from the north of Spain – in the famous Barrio de la Estación train station. This was the beginning of a family winery that is now in its fifth generation. Today, the winery is still run by the same family, producing wines of incredible quality. With more than 144 years of history, C.V.N.E. continues to evolve, grow and innovate in both viticulture and production, always remaining true to its goal of creating premium wines and exploiting the full potential of the outstanding vineyards in its surroundings.
