Interesting Facts
The vines on which the grapes for wine "Appenheim Riesling" ripen are planted on limestone soils of the Hundertgulden and Eselspfad vineyards, which are among the best in Rheinhessen. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a rigorous selection. Vinification spontaneous, lasts 10 days at a temperature of 20-22 degrees. The wine is aged on the lees, in steel and in old (more than 10 years old) traditional oak vats of 1200 and 2400 liters from local oak.
