Interesting Facts
Bourgogne Aligote AOC is the name for wines produced throughout Burgundy, especially in the Auxerre region, Côtes-Chalonese, Haute-Côte de Beaune and Haute-Côte de Nuits. The Aligote variety, which has been widely used in Burgundy since the 17th century, today is seriously inferior to the more popular Chardonnay, and its plantings account for less than 6% of all Burgundy vines. Despite this, true connoisseurs know and love Aligote for its mild acidity and wonderful balance. Excerpt Aligote Albert Bisho takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 8 months.
