Interesting Facts
Horizon is located in the Limoux region, near Carcassonne. As the name suggests, the wines are designed to expand horizons beyond the usual territory of Albert Bichot. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested from clay-limestone soils and undergo a rigorous selection. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel at temperature control, partly in oak (10-20%), with constant batonnage. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in Burgundy barriques for 6-9 months.
