Interesting Facts
Named after the famous sixteenth-century collection of poems, the "Livre de folastries" or "book of follies" by the French poet Ronsard, this Gewurztraminer is as amazing as its name. The vineyard is located between the Wintzenheim and Turckheim zones. These are places with flat alluvial deposits rich in clay. The soil mainly consists of sand, pebbles and loess plates. The vineyards are processed according to a biodynamic approach, which fully reflects the local unique terroir.
