Interesting Facts

The wine is made from the autochthonous Agiorgitiko variety, which grows in vineyards in the foothills of the Nemea region at an altitude of 400-600 meters above sea level. The harvest takes place in mid-September. The berries are carefully sorted and pressed, after which fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks in contact with the skins. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation begins. The wine is aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, and then another 12 months in bottles in the cellars of the Cavino winery.
