Interesting Facts
The Torrontés grapes were harvested at the Las Mercedes estate from vines over 70 years old. Once they reach optimal ripeness, they are hand-picked into 18-kilogram containers early in the morning. The first part of fermentation involves the addition of 15% whole berries. After this, the juice is separated and undergoes final fermentation. The wine is bottled without filtration and aged for another 6-8 months before release.
