Domaine des Tourelles

Hired by a French company responsible for the construction of the Beirut-Damascus road, François-Eugene Brun managed to fulfill his dream by starting to produce wine. That's when Domaine des Tourelles was born.

Today, more than 150 years after its founding, Domaine des Tourelles is run by the fourth generation of the Issa and Issa el-Khoury families, making it the country's youngest winemaking team operating the oldest winery. The farm owns 50 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in the village of Ammik in the western part of the Bekaa Valley.

Some vineyards are owned entirely by the winery, while others have long-term contracts. The vineyards boast some of the oldest vines in the valley, in some cases up to 70 years old. The soils here are rich in iron, gravel and limestone, with a clay base.
