Waterkloof Wines

Waterkloof Estate is the brainchild of the owner and founder of the popular wine trading company Boutinot Wines - Paul Boutinot. In 2004, Paul moved to South Africa and dreamed of finding a farm where he could live peacefully and do his life's work. For about 10 years, Paul visited South Africa and looked at sites in different parts of the Western Cape until he came across a natural amphitheater at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level right next to False Bay, on the Schapenberg Hill. Today, the Waterkloof farm covers 146 hectares, of which 82 hectares are planted with various fauna, and 61 hectares are covered with vineyards.
