This is El Esteco's signature wine. Every year Alejandro Pepa, the chief winemaker, selects the best grapes from the best areas of the estate to create Altimus and selects an assemblage, trying to create the most balanced wine with an Argentinean character. The wine is aged in various batches for 12 months in small French oak barrels. After assembling - 6 months additional aging in the barrel.
