Interesting Facts
Grapes from four vineyards of the estate are combined in this wine. The basis of the blend is the Colomé vineyard (60%); the El Arenal vineyard (25%) at an altitude of 2,600 meters gives the blend elegance and freshness; the La Brava vineyard (5%) is located at an altitude of 1,700 meters and gives the wine intense ripe fruit; Altura Maxima (10%) at an altitude of 3,111 meters (one of the highest vineyards in the world) gives the wine floral and mineral notes with fine-grained tannins. The wine is aged for 15 months in 2- and 5-fill French oak barrels, and an additional 6 months in bottle before release.
