Interesting Facts
Batasiolo is the story of the Dogliani family. For five generations, the family lived in the world of wine in the Italian region of Langhe, whose vineyards contributed enormously to the popularization of Italian wines throughout the world. In 1978, the Dogliani family acquired the historic Chiola winery with an estate in the world famous area for growing the famous Nebbiolo grape. Fermentation and maceration of the wine lasts 10-12 days in stainless steel under temperature control with periodic repairs. Aging takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for 2 years, followed by aging in steel for 12 months.
