Interesting Facts
The Gattinara area is known for its amazing soils, made up of volcanic rocks and limestone, which resemble a sponge. Thanks to this, the soil has an excellent drainage system, while retaining water. The Nebbiolo vines thrive here and produce amazing grapes that are harvested entirely by hand. After fermentation, the wine is aged in large oak barrels for at least 3 years, and after bottling, the wine spends another six months in the winery's cellar.
