Interesting Facts
One of the most prestigious and well-recognized wines of the Langhe region, Barbaresco is made from the Nebbiolo variety grown in vineyards north of the city of Alba, near the Tanaro River. This is a powerful yet elegant, incredibly harmonious wine with excellent aging potential. Barbaresco Abbona is aged in oak barrels for 2 years, then spends another 2 months in the bottle before going on sale.
