Interesting Facts
The vineyards are situated at altitudes of 300 to 400 meters on valley slopes or plateaus west of the Côte de Nuits. Exposures range primarily from south to east, ensuring the vines receive optimal sunlight. The climate is often harsh; combined with the higher altitude, this allows the grapes to ripen gradually, developing aromatic complexity and concentrated flavors. Fermentation takes place in a mix of stainless steel (70%) and oak (30%), followed by 9 to 11 months of aging on fine lees.
