Interesting Facts

Montosoli is a vineyard located northeast of Montalcino at an altitude of 275-300 meters above sea level. The grapes from this crus were first used to create Montosoli wine in 1975. The composition of the soils, the unique location and the special microclimate contribute to the ripening of magnificent grapes, which then give birth to complex, elegant wines. The grapes are fermented in the traditional way, with a 10-day maceration, and then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 2 years, followed by an additional 4 months in bottles.
