Interesting Facts
The wine is produced in limited quantities only in the best years of harvest. Sangiovese grapes are used for its production. The plots are located at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level, have southern and northwestern exposure, rocky, clay soils. Vinification takes place in steel tanks, includes cold 1-2-day maceration, fermentation at a temperature of 27-30 ° C for 15-20 days and 7-10-day post-fermentation maceration. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for at least 2 years in Slavonian oak barrels with a capacity of 3,000 and 10,000 liters and an age of 1 to 15 years. After bottling, the wine matured in bottles for another 6 months.
