Interesting Facts
Malbec grapes are hand-picked into 18-kg plastic containers. Pre-fermentation maceration takes place at 5°C in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts 25 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in second- and third-fill American and French oak barrels. 80% of the wine is aged in these same barrels for 12 months. After bottling, the wine spends an additional six months in the winery's cellar before release.
