Interesting Facts
Horizon is located in the Limoux region, near Carcassonne. As the name suggests, the wines are designed to expand horizons beyond the usual territory of Albert Bichot. The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested from clay-limestone soils and undergo a double selection. Fermentation takes place in open stainless steel vats with permanent pijagé. After pressing and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 6-9 months in Burgundy barriques (new and three-year-old oak).
