The taste is a continuation of the nose, only with the addition of aniseed tones with a slight saltiness. As always, this Pinot Noir has a good structure and balance, with a seductive mineral finish.
Aroma:
The magnificent "nose" of the wine shows aromas of pepper and black forest berries, wild mushrooms, fruit drinks and a few meat tones.
Gastronomy:
Game, venison, as well as steaks and hard cheeses.
Interesting Facts
Perhaps the greatest variety in the world, Pinot Noir, the best examples of which are rightfully produced in Burgundy, has found another home for itself - these are Paul Kluver's vineyards. Currently, as many as 18.5 hectares of Pinot Noir vineyards are planted here, which is 22.8% of the total planted area. The first vines were planted in 1989, and the youngest vines in 2004, the age of the vines: from 5 to 23 years. Soils mainly consist of Bukkeveld shale, with deep clay layers. The height of the vineyard with Pinot Noir above sea level: 280-400m.
