Interesting Facts

Barolo Ravera is made from grapes from the historic Novello vineyard, which guarantees fine aromas, juicy flavours and great depth. The limestone soil of this old vineyard gives the wine elegance and structure, making it ideal for aging. Austere and severe in the first years, Barolo Ravera does not lose its typicality over the years; on the contrary, it improves all the time. Careful selection in the vineyard and a relatively long fermentation help to enhance the characteristics of the grapes, which fully emerge after aging in the bottle. After fermentation, the wine spends 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels (25-30 hl) and 6 months in the bottle.
