Interesting Facts
The wine is made from the Criolla Chico grape, also known as Pais. After being hand-picked into 20 kg crates, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery where they are pressed and fermented and macerated in concrete vats. The wine is also aged in concrete vats for 6 months before bottling. The label shows a harvester forced to use a ladder to work, as the very old vines of the Mendoza vineyards were starting to run wild and literally turning into real trees.
