Interesting Facts
The wine is obtained from a blend of Negroamaro and Primitivo varieties grown in the vineyards of the Italian province of Apulia. The soils here are predominantly chalky. To produce the wine, the harvest is hand-picked and subjected to traditional fermentation in large wooden vats, which lasts 30-45 days. The wine is then aged for a year in French oak barrels. After this, the wine is bottled and aged for another year in the cellars of the winery.
