Milan Nestarec
Milan Nestarec is a young winemaker from Moravia. Milan studied the art of winemaking with the star winemaker Aleš Kristančič from the famous Slovenian winery Movia.
The history of Nestarec began in 2001, when his father planted 8 hectares of vineyards in Moravia. In a short time, Nestarec wines became popular all over the world. They embody the energy, originality and distinctiveness of the young generation of winemakers. Milan currently owns 15 hectares of vineyards. He produces 60% white and 40% red wines.
Milan is a member of the Authentic Winemakers “Autentiste” group, which strives to express the true character of the climate and soils of the Czech Republic. All processes in the vineyard and winery are natural: only organic fertilizers are used; there is no fermentation control in the cellar, all processes are launched spontaneously; the wines are not filtered and bottled without the use of sulphites; the wines are aged in acacia barrels; The whole family is involved in wine production.
