Interesting Facts
Gamay grapes are harvested from sandy granite soils in the municipality of Lancé, adjacent to the major Beaujolais crus of Fleury, Morgon, and Moulin-à-Vent. The wine undergoes temperature-controlled semi-carbonic fermentation for 7-12 days. Aging takes place in steel for 10 months. The wine also spends an additional 12 months in bottle before release.
