Interesting Facts
Gamay grapes are hand-picked from 40-year-old vines planted on southern-facing granite soils. After a lengthy fermentation and delicate pressing, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged there for 12 months (30% of the wine is aged in oak). Before release, the wine is aged for an additional two years in bottle.
