Interesting Facts
The grapes were hand-picked into 20 kg crates to avoid damage to the berries. Harvesting began on 23 March, when the variety had reached optimal phenolic maturity. The bunches were carefully selected and de-stemmed. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine was aged for ten months in French oak barrels.
