Interesting Facts
Mayu, Carmenere Reserva is a soft, full-bodied semi-dry red wine made from Carmenere grapes grown in the Elke Valley. Some of the grapes are harvested later, when the berries are already raisinized, which gives the wine additional complexity and richness. After traditional vinification, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 8 months. The wine will be an excellent accompaniment to grilled meat, steak and aged cheeses.
