Interesting Facts
The wine is made from indigenous grape varieties - Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera, grown in Salice Salentino. The harvest is hand-picked. Traditional vinification at controlled temperature is carried out in large wooden vats for 30-45 days. Aging takes place for 6 months in French oak barrels, 6 months in large 3000/5500 liter barrels, and 6 months in bottles in the cellar of the estate before release.
