Interesting Facts

"Marne" is a marl type of soil on which the vineyard is planted, facing 180 degrees from southwest to southeast. This wine is made from grapes harvested from different plots located on the hills of the Valpolicella area (the Mesane and Tregnago hills). After harvesting, the grapes are withered for 100 days on wooden mats in a well-ventilated room. As a result of this process, after pressing, the winemaker obtains a very concentrated juice. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels, and an additional 6 months in the bottle.
