Interesting Facts
The name of the estate Ca’Rugate is a fusion of two words: “Casa” - house and “Rugate” - hills covered with vineyards and dissected by narrow paths between them - this is a typical detail of the landscape of the region. To produce Valpolicella Rio Albo, the best grapes are collected from the various vineyards of Ca 'Rugate in the hilly area of Montecchia di Crosara. After pressing, the wort is fermented on pulp for 7 to 10 days and aged in stainless steel tanks.
