Interesting Facts
CUMA is a range of organic wines produced by El Esteco Winery. The work in the vineyards and winery is carried out in strict accordance with the organic methods prescribed by the certificate. Sheep manure is used as fertilizer in the vineyards, and weeds are controlled with machetes. The level of sulfur dioxide used in production is lower than in conventional wines. The harvest is carried out manually only when the berries have reached optimal ripeness. After harvesting, the berries undergo vinification in steel tanks, which is carried out in compliance with all the standards of organic winemaking.
