Interesting Facts
The Lucchine vineyard is located near the home and winery of the Tedeschi family, in the village of Pedemonte, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. The soils here are a mixture of clay and limestone, alluvial in origin, with plenty of hard rocks interspersed. Manual harvesting, fermentation in stainless steel containers, NMB in the same containers. After fermentation is complete, the wine “rests” in the same containers for several months and then ages in bottles for six months.
