Interesting Facts
Inama red wines are produced in the Colli Berici area, southeast of Soave. The name of the wine Carmenere Piu means something like "more than just Carmenere" or "Carmenere and something else." Both translations are appropriate in meaning. Because this wine is a very strong expression of the Carmenere variety, but it also has "something else" - the addition of the Merlot variety. Both varieties are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation and malolactic fermentation also take place in these tanks. After that, the wine is aged for a year in French second-use barriques.
