Interesting Facts
LEAL means "truthful" in Spanish. This Carménère stands out for its high quality, borne deep in the arid coastal region of Cauquenes, on granite soils. The grapes were hand-picked and selected, then cold-macerated at 5°C for five days. Alcoholic fermentation took place using selected yeasts in oak barrels at 24°C. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, where it aged for a total of 16 months.
